Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest planets, are represented on top with Egyptian, Mayan and Assyrian hieroglyphs adorning the sides. Jupiter and Saturn were side by side in 2000 for almost a year. This sculpture is intended to be a bench so you are welcome to sit and enjoy the surroundings. This black granite was sourced from British Columbia near the town of Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast. Please take time to explore some of the symbols as one set of three forms a familiar Egyptian word.
