Size:
80"H x 20" W x 20" D

Green Goddess is carved from NW Olivine which is found near Mt. Baker Washington and represents many legends that come from the Ocean, one being Mermaids. Olivine contains semi precious peridot crystals that are sometimes a deep emerald green.

Mermaids, representing the power of nature, are seen as protectors and guardians of the Ocean and its creatures. One of their powers is to use their magical singing voices applying Hydrokinesis, which is the ability to manipulate liquid water which in turn controls the weather. One of the earliest mermaid legends appeared in Syria around 1000 BC when goddess Atargatis dove into a lake and took the form of a fish.
